Welcome, advanced journalist!
I'm excited about the team we've assembled for Pulse Magazine and CCAPulse.com this year, and I look forward to a year of fun, teamwork and great scholastic journalism. Congratulations to Skylar Binney who was named Editor-in-Chief this year and brings leadership and poise to a position that demands both. Jakob Saloner has been named the Creative Director of the magazine and brings to his position a skill set and enthusiasm that are tough to match. Ronnie Simon is this year's online Editor-in-Chief and has already infused some original ideas for making the online division of the magazine more robust and interactive. Elliot Cohen rounds out our leadership team as Business Manager of the magazine and has already demonstrated the professionalism necessary for such an important role. Our leadership team is bolstered this year by a talented and dedicated staff of writers. Leah Bloom, Ashlyn Finkbeiner, and Max Greenhalgh complete our well-rounded team of journalists.

National Scholastic Press Association Fall Convention, 2015 (November 12th-15th)
For many years, the CCA Pulse Magazine staff has attended the NSPA's National Fall Convention. We've traveled to places like Chicago, Nashville, Philadelphia, St. Louis, San Francisco, and Boston. This year's convention will be held in Orlando, FL in November, and we look forward to attending again this year. Every year, this convention gives our journalists the opportunity to share their hard work with thousands of their peers from all over the country, as well as industry professionals that serve as anchors, reporters, photojournalists, layout designers, editors and more to gain valuable feedback and advice on their craft. Please click on the convention link above for more information about this incredible opportunity. Because this year's convention is held in Orlando, our journalists will have discounted access to Walt Disney World & Epcot Center making this a trip of serious school business AND pleasure!
